How to Add Teen Funding

First, make sure that the parent has connected their own payment method for the subscription

On the funding page, select “My teen will fund their account”

Ask your teen to open their app and click “Connect funding method”

The teen can connect a debit card or bank account from here using Plaid
We cover all ACH (bank) transfer fees! Connecting a bank account is required for withdrawing funds.
Important Notes
Make sure your teen is familiar with a few core digital banking concepts!

Funds do not transfer instantly (deposits/withdrawals can take 1-2 business days to settle)

Always leave at least $20 in your bank account to avoid a returned deposit

Returned deposits result in the temporary deactivation of a teen’s Bloom account.
