What is the Subscription For?

Last updated on Aug 31, 2023

Bloom charges for access to 200+ education modules, financial literacy content, and UTMA custodial brokerage accounts and standard brokerage accounts. We use the subscription to maintain your investing account (which does not have any trading fees!) and to produce education content. The subscription directly feeds into our free stock rewards as well, so many users earn their subscription fee back by learning on Bloom.

Bloom does not currently have a free plan. Canceling the subscription means closing the Bloom account.

Canceling The Subscription

If you would like to cancel your Bloom account, please:

  1. Liquidate all stocks

  2. Withdraw all funds

  3. Close the account by going to Settings > Subscription > Cancel.

Please note that funds must be in the buying power for 5-6 business days before they can be withdrawn. If you sell a stock on the 1st of a month, it will become available to withdraw by the 7th of that month. This is why the “available to withdraw” will not match the “full buying power” sometimes.
